NAWIC is a non-profit organization with the core purpose of enhancing and promoting the success of women in the construction industry.
NAWIC provides opportunities for other organizations and companies to get involved with issues that affect everyone in the construction industry, with a focus on those issues directly related to women.
Becoming a member of NAWIC offers individuals opportunities including education, networking, career opportunities, and the chance to develop unique relationships with people just like you.
The Metropolitan Denver Chapter of NAWIC is part of the Pacific Southwest Region of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
The Denver Chapter, along with all of the other chapters in the Pacific Southwest Region, promote the core values of NAWIC. We are committed to supporting women in construction as established by our founders, the original 16 women who joined together in Fort Worth, Texas to create NAWIC.
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originally began as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas. Sixteen women working in the construction industry founded it in 1953.
